    General purpose wire grid polarizers

    Specac offer a range of holographic infrared wire grid polarizers for general-purpose optical physics applications.

    These IR polarizers are offered from stock on these substrates:

    • calcium fluoride (CaF2)
    • barium fluoride (BaF2)
    • zinc selenide (ZnSe)
    • thallium bromoiodide (KRS-5)

    Affordable polarizers

    Manufactured with a grid periodicity of 2500 lines/mm, they offer acceptable extinction coefficient and transmission throughput performance at an economical price.

    Specac's Opto-Physics Infrared Polarizer are mounted in 25 mm or 50 mm support rings to be compatible with standard laboratory physics optical component mounting accessories.
